It is with great sadness that the family announce the death of Andrew “AJ” Benoit on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born in Stephenville, NL on September 9, 1991 to Margaret Wheeler and Andrew Benoit and was raised in Red Brook, Cape St. George, NL. He will be deeply missed by his parents, Margaret and Andrew of Red Brook, Cape St. George, NL and his fiancee, Shelby Polchies and their children, Sophie Ann Valerie, Emily Raine and Tristen Lance Perry Eddy Polchies of Oromocto, NB. He also leaves behind his sister, Kelsey Benoit, maternal grandparents, Raymond and Valerie Wheeler, paternal grandparents, Battiste Benoit (Carrie) and Regina Benoit (Conrad), maternal great-grandmother, Viola Smith and paternal great-grandmother, Loretta March. He will not be forgotten by his extensive family and his numerous friends. Visitation will take place on Friday, June 7th from 7-9 p.m. at Our Lady of the Cape Parish, Cape St. George. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, June 8th at 10:30 a.m. from Our Lady of the Cape Parish, Cape St. George with Father Terry Boland officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Marches Point. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell’s Funeral Home, Stephenville.
