Friends and extended family members of the late M. Ethel (Martin) Gay (d. April 15, 2013) and C. Vernon Gay (d. June 17, 2005) are invited to join sons David (Jean) Martin, Summerside, Bill (Marty) Gay, Yarmouth, NS; daughters Joan Davies, Oromocto, NB, Marilyn (Bruce) Driscoll, Burton, NB; and Ethel and Vernon’s grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews for a graveside memorial and committal service at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 8, at Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Following a brief celebration of her life, led by the Rev. Dr. Arthur Davies, Ethel will be laid to rest with Vernon, their son Charles Ronald Gay and son-in-law John Davies. Family and friends are then invited to gather at the home of Bruce and Marilyn Driscoll at 163 Main Street, Borden. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, 436-2301. Memorial donations to the Nakile Memorial Fund or a Charity of your choice would be appreciated.
