It is with great sadness that the family of the late Shirley Richard Norman announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at the age of 83 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories children Stella & Frank, Nora & George, Roy & Anita, Jeanette, Sharon, Ruby & Roland, Donna & Bob, Irving & Leslie, 22 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, brother Alex (Susie) Norman, sister Gladys Gaulton, also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Esther, parents Richard & Susan, brothers Ed, Abe, sisters Jeanette, and Ethel. At his request cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel at 2 P.M. with Lloyd Diamond officiating, interment to follow at Mount Patricia cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
