It is with great sadness that the family of the late MATTHEW LAKE of Marystown, NL, announces his passing at his home in Marystown, on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at the age of 80. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: Sons – Charlie (Elizabeth) of Baine Harbour & Jerry (Lorraine) of Marystown; Sister – Margaret Boucock of Boston; Brother – Frank (Ellen) Lake of Marystown; 4 Grandchildren – Matthew, Trevor, Christopher & Stephen; 1 Great-Grandchild – Laureen; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by: Wife – Rosella; Parents – Thomas & Ellen Lake; Brothers – Mike, Henry, Arch & Tom Lake.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown, on Saturday, June 8, at 10:00 a.m. Interment followed at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in Marystown. In Matthew’s memory donations may be made to the Lake Family or flowers gratefully accepted.
