Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre in Harbour Breton on Sunday, June 9, 2013, Mr. Clarence Rideout, age 85 years of Seal Cove, Fortune Bay. He is greatly loved and sadly missed by his loving family: wife, Ruby; daughters, Ada (Clyde Strickland) at Grand Falls-Windsor, Linda (Roland Piercey) at Hermitage, Evelyn (John Patterson) at Nova Scotia, and Roberta (Ricky Piercey) at Brampton, ON; sons, Guy (Olga) at Seal Cove, and Bernard (Denise) at Grand Falls-Windsor; thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; plus a large circle of other relatives and friends, Predeceased by sisters, Cassie, Bride, and Elva; brothers, Wallace and Cyril.
Funeral service took place at the Gospel Hall in Seal Cove on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at 2:00 pm. Interment followed at the Gospel Hall Cemetery in Seal Cove.
