MORRIS, LELIA - Lelia May Morris passed away on Monday, June 17, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on January 29, 1918. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Mallory) Cobham. Lelia was a member of St. Giles United Church, Martinon and was a former choir member and member of the U.C.W. She was a resident of Grand Bay-Westfield for 48 years and also a member of the Can Cope for many years. She is survived by sons, Jack (Bernice) Morris, of Morrisdale, N.B., Donald (Jo Anne) Morris, of Abbotsford, B.C., Art (Linda) Morris, of Grand Bay-Westfield; daughters, Mary Lou (Robert) Whiting, of Grand Bay-Westfield; sister-in-law, Helen Morris; eight grandchildren; sixteen, great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Leslie Morris; one brother, Lloyd Cobham; sister, Ruth Dunbar.
Resting at Castle Funeral Home, “Fallsview Chapel”, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John West, (634-1701). Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m from Castle Funeral Home. Interment will take place in the Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. There will be a reception held at the Fallsview Family Reception Center following the interment.
