HAYNES, ROBERT - With sadness the family announces the passing of Robert “Bob” George Haynes which occurred on Friday, June 21, 2013 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born 1943 in Saint John, he was the son of the late George and Hilda (Oram) Haynes. Bob retired as a supervisor from Ford in Oakville, ON before moving back home to work for King Mazda. He had many hobbies including fishing, playing VLT’s and reading. He was a charmer of the ladies and enjoyed anything country and western. He is survived by his sons Robin of Flamboro, ON, David of Burlington, ON, Shawn of Toronto, ON and Robert of Fredericton; sisters Barbara, Sharon and Lynne; grandchildren Mandy, Dustin, Ashlee and Tyler Haynes; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. 646-2424. A Memorial Service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 24, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in Port Wade, NS at a later date.
