We regret to announce the peaceful passing of Carol V. (Mason) Woodside, age 82, at the Trillium Centre nursing home in Kingston, Ont., after a long illness.
Carol was the daughter of C. Roy and Greta (Cockell) Mason of Sydney and lived at 7 Cromarty St. She graduated from Sydney Academy in 1948 and from Mount Allison University in 1952. She went on to have a very successful career in the textile industry with several major companies in Canada.
Carol was predeceased by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn Woodside, Verona, Ont. and by her brothers, Ralph (Diane), Bridgewater, N.S. and Roger (Margaret), Mahone Bay, N.S. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Cremation has taken place and a committal service will be held at Hardwood Hill Cemetery at a later date.
