BARRETT, ROBERTA - Roberta "Bobbie" Barrett, loving mother, sister and grandmother passed away on June 22, 2013 at the Loch Lomond Villa. Born 1926, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Gertrude (Winters) Stiles. Roberta was a Sunday school teacher, Pioneer leader, and worked with the youth group as well as the ladies Harambee group at Main Street Baptist Church for many years. Bobbie also loved to do puzzles. She is survived by her loving daughters, Carol (Robert) Craig and Christine (Lawrence) Damon, both of Saint John; three grandchildren, Stephanie (Jeff) White, Tim Damon and Michael (Rana) Craig; and three great-grandchildren, Jenna, Gaelen and Declan. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James; brother, Ronald; sister, Muriel; grandson, Andrew; and great-granddaughter, Amira.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 10:00 am with the interment following at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
