Moore, Betty Lillian, 91, Truro, passed away peacefully, Friday, June 21, 2013 in the Mira Long Term Care Centre, Truro. Born in O’Leary, PEI, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Christena (MacLeod) Richards, of Springfield, PEI. Betty and her husband Stan were former owners of Superline Fuels, Truro.
She is survived by a son Greg (Dolly) of Truro; Brother Donald (Liz) of Debert; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Betty was predeceased by her husband Stanley “Stan” Moore; brothers, Everett, Sterling; sister Myra Tedford.
No visitation or funeral service by family request. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Burial will take place at a later date in the Robie Street Cemetery, Truro. No flowers by request. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of choice.
