GOGUEN, DONALD JAMES – The unexpected passing of “Ducky” Goguen, husband of Stella Goguen (Boudreau) occurred at his residence on Sunday, June 23, 2013. He was born on March 18, 1946 in Moncton to the late Walter and Rosella (Gallant) Goguen. Ducky worked at Irving Oil Ltd. as a labourer for over 25 years retiring in 2005. He loved fishing, hockey, playing cards and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Ducky is survived by his wife, Stella; son, Donald Goguen; step-daughters: Carol Parkinson (Shane) and Bretannie Loveland (Russell); grandchildren: Sashana Parkinson and Wyatt Loveland; siblings: Evelyn O’Brien (John) of Boston, MA, Roberta Lewis (Freeman), Marion Gilliland (Leonard), Walter Goguen, Elizabeth Leger (Gerald), and Christina Lynch (Douglas) and several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. He was predeceased by his parents; first wife, Linda (Jacquard) Goguen and sisters: Rose Marie Lodge and Dianne Calhoun.
Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday and Thursday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Joachim’s Church, 603 Loch Lomond Road on Friday, June 28, 2013 at 12:00 noon. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
