Marion Ethel Steadman - 75, of Berwick, passed away Monday, June 24, 2013 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Vernon, British Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Margaret Grace (Jackson) (Gibbs) Greeno. She served with the Canadian Armed Forces for 7 years and was stationed in France and throughout Canada. She was then employed with Larsen’s in Berwick for 18 years. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Ortona Branch 69, Berwick, where she served on the Executive Committee as Sports Director. Marion was active all her life and participated in various sports over the years. She is survived by her husband, Harris; a daughter, Cheryl Keddy (James Woolley), Waterville; a sister, Gloria (Ken) Kearns, Kelowna, British Columbia; two grandchildren, Nicole (Kyle Harry), Round Hill; Jesse Keddy, Waterville. She was predeceased by a son, Ronald; a brother, Harold. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. The funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 7, 2013 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. Burial will take place in the Berwick Cemetery. Family flowers only, by request. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
