Passed peacefully away at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, PEI on Thursday, June 20, 2013, Ethel May Pynn of Harbour Grace, age 78 years. Predeceased by husband: William John; parents: Reuben and Ursela King; step-mother: Mildred King. Left to mourn, two daughters: Sylvia Whalen, Coley’s Point South and June (Kevin) McKinnon, Stratford, PEI; two grandchildren: Mark (Lisa) and Annalise; two great-grandchildren: Samantha and Kaitlynne; four step-grandchildren: Bobby, Kassandra, Kyle and Joel; five half-brothers: Edison (Doreen) King and Bert (Lorraine) King, both of Salmon Cove, Rev (Judy) King and Calvin (Jacqueline) King, both of Perry’s Cove and Lewis (Anne) King, Halifax, NS; one half-sister: Bessie (Fred) Snow, Freshwater, Carbonear; step-brother: Frederick 'Junior' (Florence) Trickett, Perry’s Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Rev. Brian Colbourne conducted the funeral service on Tuesday, June 25 from Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace. Interment took place in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace. Donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society.
