It is with great sadness that the family of the late Leah Martin announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Center on Thursday, June 27th 2013 at the age of 83 years. She will be sadly missed by her two sons: Neil (Alma) and Ernest (Bonnie) all in Brampton, Ontario, her daughter Diann Martin in Boswarlos, her brother Herbert Martin also in Boswarlos, one sister Molly (Frank) Piercey in Stephenville, she will also be missed by her six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a large circle of family and friends. Visitation will take place on Sunday from 7-9 and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive in Stephenville. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, July 2nd 2013, at 2 p.m from St. James Anglican Church in Port Au Port with interment in the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Leah’s memory.
