Trites, Leverett Douglas “Levy”, 75, Truro Heights, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 26, 2013 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Moncton, he was a son of the late Leonard and Florence (Bourgeois) Trites. He was a hardworking man all of his life.
He is survived by his wife the former Geraldine Elizabeth Gormley; sons, John (Elaine) of Falmouth, Michael (Judy) of Lower Sackville, Nicholas of Truro; daughters, Carol (Don) Falmouth, Tara (Fraser) of Bible Hill; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
By Levy’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Donations in memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro or to the Victoria Order of Nurses.
