ROBIA, CYRIL MICHAEL - Cyril Michael Robia passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Bobby's Hospice on July 1, 2013. Born January 9, 1931 in Cape St. George, NL, he was the son of the late William and Mary (Lainey) Robia. He is survived by loving wife Dorothy Mary (Lagatdu); children Sharon (John) Muise of Cape Breton, Cyril Robia Jr. of Newfoundland, Geneva Robia (Bill) of Saint John, Gloria (Ellis) Lainey of Newfoundland, Sandra (Patrick) Enright, Doris Jesso (Ron), Patricia (Terry) Enright and Ken Robia all of Saint John; brother Abraham of Newfoundland; 12 Grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and many friends. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by son Glen Robia and grandson Jason Robia. Cyril was a jack of all trades, working as a fisherman, carpenter and woodsman before retiring. He was also musically talented, could play any instrument and especially loved the fiddle.
Following cremation, visitation will be held from Fundy Funeral Home on Thursday, July 4 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. A memorial service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, July 5 at 2:00 P.M.
