Passed away peacefully, much too early after a courageous battle with cancer at his home in Blaketown, surrounded by his loving family, Paul Jones, aged 45 years. Predeceased by his grandparents: Nan and Pop Newhook; Nan and Pop Jones; mother and father-in-law, Norsat Sorkhpoosh and Hansan Sobhanifar. Leaving to mourn and celebrate his life with thanksgiving are his loving wife, Jaleh; son, Aryan; mom and dad, Bertha and Selby; sister-in-law, Jila (Dari) Montreal; brother-in-law, Fereydoon (Afsaneh), Iran; four nieces and one nephew; four aunts: Daphne (Berkley) Pinsent, Louise Peet (Albert), Mildred Lundrigan, Agnes Jones; special godson, Seamus Pinsent; cousin/sister, Vanessa (Craig Mahoney); special cousin, Brenda (Larry George); many more cousins and life-long music friend, Ron Mercer (Tina); as well as a large circle of other family and friends in Newfoundland and co-workers and friends in Ontario. Resting at Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo on Monday, July 1 and Tuesday, July 2 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Blaketown on Wednesday, July 3 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Barnabas Anglican Cemetery.
