(nee Walters) Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles Escasoni Complex on Saturday, March 8, 2008 Ivy Stone, aged 86 years. Predeceased by her husband Ralph W. Stone, sister Violet Stanley (Gordon), brother Heber Walters. Left with fond and loving memories, her son Lloyd (Barbara); grandchildren: Warren (Cheryl), Marc (Lynn) and Taryn (Keith) as well as five great-grandchildren; sisters Dora Pepper, grace (Donald Prouth), Kay (Al Roberts); sisters-in-law: Jessie Walters and Peg Ploughman; brother-in-law Doyle Stone (Emily); many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff of Cra Dea Manor for their care and devotion to Ivy over the past four years; also to Rev. Munden Waye and his wife Katherine for their ongoing support. A private family service was held on Sunday, March 9, with cremation to follow. A memorial service and interment will take place at a later date from Vardy's Funeral Home in Hickmans Harbour, T.B.
