It is with great sadness that the family of the late CHARLES PATRICK MURPHY of Lawn, NL, announces his passing at U.S. Memorial Health Care Centre in St. Lawrence, on Friday, June 21, 2013, at the age of 78. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Sons – Charles (Darlene) of Point May, Calvin (Karen) of Lamaline, Russell (Maureen) of Lord’s Cove, Kevin (Maxine) of Lawn, Barry (Mary) of Cold Lake, AB & Michael (Julia) of Burin; Daughters – Margaret Morgan (Paul) of Mount Pearl, Mona Kelly (Wayne) of Marystown, Janet Fitzpatrick (Joseph) of Lord’s Cove, Christina Murphy (Walter White) of Lawn, Clarissa Murphy (Joe Haley) of Lamaline, Sandy Ploughman (Michael) of Halifax, Mary Murphy of Lawn & Mary Grant (Michael) of Lawn; 23 Grandchildren & 18 Great-Grandchildren; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by his Wife Alice, 3 Sisters & 2 Brothers.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place on Monday, June 24, at 11:00 a.m., from Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church. Interment followed at Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Cemetery. In Charles memory donations may be made to the Church Building Fund or flowers gratefully accepted.
