JACOB, LEONA - 1925 - 2013 - Leona Jacob, 88, of Auberge du Soleil, Dieppe, NB, passed away on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2013, at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Memramcook, NB, she was the daughter of the late Honoré and the late Domethilde (née: Cormier) Cormier. Mrs. Jacob was a member of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce parish. She is survived by two daughters: Diana Jacob of New Hampshire and Anita Jacob of Louisiana; two sons: Raymond (Anne-Marie) Jacob of Dieppe and Francis (Florine) Jacob of South Berwick, ME; two sisters: Louise (late Harvey) LeBlanc of Memramcook Lake and Lina (Roger) Gagnon of Moncton; two brothers: Alyre (Ida) Cormier of Memramcook and Fred (Aurise) Cormier of Dieppe; one sister-in-law, Lucille Cormier of Memramcook; eight grandchildren: Maurice, Melissa, Stephanie, Ann-Marie, Mytchel, Monica, Jossalyn and Lucas; eight great grandchildren: Ryan, Sarah, Nathan, Kaylee, Chloe, Alana, Layla and Kenan, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald in 2003; three sisters: Marguerite (Tony), Doris (Leo) and Maria (Edgar) and also by two brothers: Eugene and Arthur.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Monday, July 8th, 2013 from 9 am until time of the funeral service, which will be celebrated from the chapel at 11 am.
