Louise Marion Davies passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 13, 2013, in her 73rd year after a long illness in The Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Nappan, with her nephew, Craig Jobe by her side in her final hours. Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late Gerald and Viola (Henwood) Davies.
She worked most of her life at the Surrette Battery Factory. Louise was a devoted mother to her son, Terry. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and decorating her home for Christmas.
She will be sadly missed by her brother Harvey (Catherine) Davies, and their family in London, Ontario; nephew Craig Jobe and neighbours Pop and Jane Boss along with their family from Springhill.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her twin sister Lois Jobe and her son Terry Davies.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill. A Graveside Committal Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 5, 2013 in West Brook Cemtery.
