MacRAE, NOLA GRACE - Mrs. Nola Grace MacRae, wife of Sterling Eldridge MacRae, of Smythe Street, Fredericton, formerly of Doaktown, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2013 at Dr Everett Chalmers Hospital at the age of 88. Born in Doaktown, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Mabel (Crocker) Russell. She was a school teacher and member of St Andrew's Anglican Church, Doaktown, where she was the church organist. Besides her husband Sterling, she is survived by her daughter, Nira MacRae-Kindred (Peter) of Saint John; her son, Colin MacRae of Halifax, NS; her sister, Glenna Taylor (Clarence) of Doaktown and her grandchild, Brechen MacRae. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her infant sister, Annie and her brothers, Frank and Arthur.
Mrs. Nola Grace MacRae is resting at Davidson's Funeral Home, 579 main Street, Doaktown, with visitation on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at 1pm at St Andrew's Anglican Church, Doaktown, with Rev. Dr. Brian Spence officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
