It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hilda Decker (Nee Francis) announces her passing on Sunday July 7th, 2013, at the Palliative Care Unit of the Bonne Bay Health Centre, in Norris Point, NL, in her 82nd year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons; Gary (Dale) of Rocky Harbour, NL, & Amador (Emma) of Hawke’s Bay, NL, her 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother Roland; daughter-in-law; Brenda (Cox's Cove); special niece Valda Young; and a large circle of family and friends. Hilda was predeceased by her husband Bill in 1973; son Terry in 2010; parents George & Emma Francis; brothers Clyde & Stanley; sisters Annie, Ethel, & Mary. The family will be receiving family & friends from St. Matthews Anglican Church, in Rocky Harbour today Monday, July 8th, 2013, from the hours of 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm, and continuing on Tuesday July 9th, 2013, from the hours of 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm, where also the Funeral service will take place from on Wednesday July 10th 2013, at 2: pm with Rev: Cannon Louise Richards officiating. As for Hilda wishes Cremation to take place and internment of ashes to follow at the family plot of the Church cemetery in Rocky Harbour, NL.
