Mary Evelyn Lowther
The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, July 5, 2013, of Mrs. Mary E. Lowther (nee Macneill) of Charlottetown and formerly of Cavendish, age 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Edward Lowther and dear mother of Winnifred (Gordon) MacInnis, Ken, Gary (Linda) and Scott (Sandi) Lowther. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Roxanne (Jeff) Carmody and their children, Dayle, Evan and Brynn; Tyson (Sherry) MacInnis and children, Jared, Taryn and Ayla; Blythe MacInnis; Keir (Robin) Lowther and children, Isla and Theo; Chris (Melissa) Lowther and children, Katey Jayne and Jaxon; Ryan (Dianne) Lowther and children, William and Ethan; Ashley (Barry) MacPhail-Smith and their son, Darius; Chelsea and Adam Lowther; her brother, John (Jennie) Macneill; special daughter-in-law Carol Corbett and son-in-law, Jim MacPhail; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Ernest and Winnifred (nee MacLeod) Macneill; infant daughter Nancy Rosemary; daughter, Jayne MacPhail; grandson, Morgan MacPhail; sisters-in-law, Anne (Charles) MacFarlane and Margaret (Keith) Webb. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in Cavendish Community Cemetery.
