It is with great sadness that the family of the late Albert William Bannister announce his passing on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook in his 80th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Thomas (Barbara), James, Catherine (Keith) Murley and Connie (Euan) House; three grandchildren: Jennifer (Brian Johnson), Vancouver, Michael (Victoria) House and Jonathan House (Jennette); two great-grandchildren: Jaydon and Thomas; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Peggy Bannister; parents: Thomas & Rita Bannister and Cecilia & Ernest Giles; brother, Gerald Giles. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 11 at 10:00 a.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street, with Rev. Tanya White officiating. Interment to ­follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of ­flowers, donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Dialysis Unit or the Chemo Unit.
