STELLARTON/NEW GLASGOW – Sadly and with broken hearts we announce that our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend, Eleanor Margaret (Pug) Talbot, has passed on July 7, 2013. Surrounded with the love of her family, she fought valiantly against pancreatic cancer.
Born in New Glasgow on August 14, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Tom Kitson and Lorraine Nugent.
Pug worked at the Dominion Store in New Glasgow and restaurants and grocery stores in Amherst, where she had many fond memories. She also enjoyed the many friendships made while living in Vancouver, BC and throughout Alberta. Pug was truly beautiful, inside and out. She showed kindness and warmth to everyone she met and smiled every day. Eleanor was a loving caregiver and worked above and beyond what was required or asked of her for family, friends and clients. A shining example of a woman who led a life full of optimism, courage and unconditional love.
