Eugene passed away in Royal Inland Hospital after a one week stay.

Survived by his wife Emellia, son James (Jennifer), step granddaughters Shelly (Gregg) and Sherry, step great-grandchildren Tyler, Makayla and Jonathon, sister Diane Holburn, sisters-in-law Irene and Olga Winiarski and Josie Palosky. Also thirteen nieces and nephews and eighteen great nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents Walter & Stefania Winiarski, brothers Gerald and Walter Winiarski and sister Eileen Winiarski, mother & father-in-law Mike & Mary Zajda, brothers-in-law David Palosky and Frank Holburn and nephews Jerry Winiarski & Frankie Holburn.

The family would like to thank Dr. Stoltze and Dr. Stinson and the nursing staff on 7 North at Royal Inland Hospital. Your excellent care of Eugene is very much appreciated.

Cremation entrusted to Schoening Funeral Service, Kamloops, B.C. No viewing. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
