Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, Sadie J. Clarke of Victoria, age 91 years. Predeceased by husband: Eleazer; infant granddaughter: Mary; parents: John and Mary Butt; sisters: Violet and Winnie; brother: Hubert. Left to mourn, six daughters: Mary (Randell) Tarrant, Joyce (Bill) Chamberlain and Jocelyn Clarke, all of Guelph, ON, Linda (Edward) Peckham, Salmon Cove, Mildred (Bill) Snow, Bay Roberts and Rhonda (Larry) Henry, Fergus, ON; three sons: Eleazer (Jane), Cambridge, ON, Curtis (Karen), Edmonton, AB and Randy (Darice), Grand Prairie, AB; fifteen grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one brother: John 'Jack' (Marion) Butt, Carbonear; brother-in-law: Basil (Betty) Clarke, Lewisporte; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Pastor Andy Lane conducted the funeral service on Saturday, July 13 at Bethel Pentecostal Church, Victoria. Interment was in Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery, Victoria. As an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of NL or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
