Peacefully at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Wednesday, August 13, 2008, of Greta Lauretta Fraser, beloved wife of the late Herbert Fraser, age 78 years. Born February 28, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Herbert T. and Rosella S. (nee Arsenault) Avery. Cherished mother to Peggy (Dale) Paul and loving grandmother to Sara, Trevor, Adam, and David Paul, all of Calgary. Dear sister to Wilma (John) Campbell of Summerside, Phyllis (Donnie) Matthews of Northport and Herbert (Shirley) Avery of Northport. She is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law June and Fred Hamill of Northport, Charlie and Elaine Fraser of Northport, Eleanor Fraser of Alberton, Mildred and Bert MacKenzie of Rothesay, N.B. Vie Fraser of Northport, Roy and Ruby Fraser of Northport and Reg and Vinnie Fraser of Alberton. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters Isabel, Mae, Arnold and Devere. She was also predeceased by brothers and sisters-in-law Gabe Jardim, Enith Avery, Franklyn Fraser, Ralph and Ruth Fraser, Keir Fraser and Stuart Fraser. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton, from where the funeral will be held on Saturday morning from the Sacred Heart Church, Alberton, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. As an expression, memorials to the Western Hospital equipment fund would be gratefully appreciated. www.rooneyfh.ca
