URQUHART VYE, HILDA - 1918 - 2013 - Hilda Urquhart Vye, of Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Thursday, July 11, 2013, at the age of 94. Born in Lyttleton, she was the daughter of the late James and Adeline (Mutch) Hamilton. She worked at Creaghan's Store as a seamstress and was a member of St Mark's United Church and the Douglastown Seniors Club. She will be sadly missed by her two daughters Rosalie (Gregory Dunnett) of Cambridge Narrows, NB, and Judy (Wayne Mutch) of Lyttleton; two sons James Urquhart (Muriel), and Alton Urquhart (Lorna) both of Miramichi; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Hilda was predeceased by her first husband Robert Urquhart; her second husband Perley Vye; two sons Elwin and Robert Urquhart; four sisters Dorothy, Nancy, Greta, and Bella; one brother Herman Hamilton (Minnie); and two grandsons Jeremy and Jason Urquhart.
The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Saturday, July 13, 2013, from 7 to 9 pm, and on Sunday, July 14, 2013, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, July 15, 2013, at 2 pm, with Rev. Ross Wiseman officiating. Interment will take place in St Mark's United Church Cemetery. As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to St Mark's United Church Cemetery Fund, Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home, or to a memorial of one's choice.
