SEIDLER: Frank George of Neville, SK, passed away on July 9th, 2013 at the age of 86 years, in the Foyer Nursing home in Pontiex, SK. The graveside service was held on July 15th, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. from Memory Gardens Cemetery, with Pastor Brad Julien officiating. Frank is survived by his children, Ray (Betty) Seidler of Winnipeg MB, Frances Seidler of Saskatoon SK, and Judy (Don) Drewniak of Athabasca AB.; grandchildren, Jason and Jeffery Seidler of Winnipeg MB, MaraLynn (Mark) Vonniessen of Saskatoon SK, Conan Drewniak of Victoria BC, and Tyler (Jade) Drewniak of Edmonton AB.; great grandchildren Brodie and Krobeen Seidler of Winnipeg MB, Mariska Vonniessen of Saskatoon SK, Kenzi and Hunter Drewniak of Edmonton AB.; brother, Robert (Beverly) Seidler of Vancouver BC.; sisters, Vi Jervis of Surrey BC, Anne Gore of Calgary AB, Kae Mann of Saskatoon SK.; his long time friend and companion Mary Wernicke; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. His parents, Adolf and Mary Seidler, predeceased Frank. Frank attended school in Bateman. He then married Agnes Vonniessen in 1950 and they separated in 1971. Frank worked at the Crown Zellerbach Pulp Mill in Vancouver, and then moved back to Saskatchewan and worked on the family farm. Later he then went into the construction trade, as well as doing odd jobs in the trade until his retirement in 2000. Frank was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion branch #56 of Swift Current for 15 years. He also had a special interest in building birdhouses and sheds. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Foyer Nursing Home in Pontiex, SK, in memory of Frank. Warren's Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
