KEITH, EDMUND STANDFORD - 1935 - 2013 - Edmund S. Keith of Moncton passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2013 surrounded by his loving family at the Moncton Hospital. Born September 23, 1935 in Steeves Settlement, NB he was the son of the late Van Buren and Martha (Cass) Keith. In January 2013, Edmund retired from Armour Transportation Systems, following a 53 year career. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching hockey and Nascar. When not watching sports, he and Myrna could often been seen out on the roads as they enjoyed going out for drives in the evening in and around town. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Myrna (Hopper) Keith, daughters: Darlene Constantine (Brian) of Riverview, Marlene Taylor (Carl) of Salisbury; son, Terry Keith (Penny) of Moncton, sisters; Marjorie Elliott and Nara Keith both of Riverview, brothers; Theodore (Ted) Keith (Marie) of Riverview and Thornton Keith (Margaret) of Sydney, NS, grandchildren Christopher (Holly) Constantine and Colton Constantine (Samantha) as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by sisters Ginevra Duncan and Constance Keith.
The family extends an invitation to friends and relatives to join them at Cobb’s Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine RD; (869-2007) on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 from 6 to 9 for a time to share and celebrate Edmund’s life. There will be no funeral service at his request. A Special thanks to the nurses of the Moncton Hospital and to Dr. Nayak.
