It is with great sadness that the family of the late Pearl Penney announce her passing on Sunday, July 14th, 2013 at Sunny Brook Hospital in Toronto at the age of 88 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her 10 children: Paul (Brenda), Glen (Nanette), Judy, Peter, Ann, Cathy (Nick), Randy (Mara), Rosemary (Paul), Kelly (Donovan) and Becky (Enzo); 16 grandchildren: Christopher, Joshua, Jason, Kara, Matthew, Michael, Julie, Karly, Johnny, Jessica, Viktoria, Ryan, Patrick, Kevin, Michaelynn and McKenzie; seven great-grandchildren; sisters: Carol Duncan, Lil Steves and Kay Prosper; brothers: Sonny and Buster Kitchen, as well as many other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Patrick Penney, 1996. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 18th at 10:30 A.M. from All Hallows Church, Humber Road, with Father Ambrose Hynes officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
