Passed peacefully away, surrounded by the love of his family, at the QE II hospital in Halifax, NS, on Monday, July 8, 2013, Alpheaus (Alf) Hardiman, of Garnish, in his 83rd year.
He leaves to mourn his daughters, Sadie (Tom), Sheila, sons, Rendell, Joey, Jerry and daughter-in law, Patricia, all of Halifax-Dartmouth, son, Wayne of Ottawa, his brother John (Jess), sisters Meta Grandy, Elizabeth Scott, Georgie Fizzard and Shirley Green (Wilfred) and his many nieces and nephews, as well as a large circle of family and friends.
Alf was predeceased by his wife, Olive, and his sister, Annie Marshall.
Captain Charlene Hillier conducted the Funeral Service at Salvation Army Citadel, Garnish, on Monday, July 15th, 2013; at 2:00 pm. Interment was at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Garnish.

Pall bearers were Joey Hardiman, Wayne Hardiman, Rendell Hardiman, Jerry Hardiman, Rendell Pardy, James Hardiman, Shawn Tapper, and Trevor Pardy.
