The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, July 18, 2013, of Peter Raymond Arsenault of Egmont-Bay, aged 57 years. Peter was born on Jan.10, 1956, in Summerside, to his late parents Sylvere and Marguerite (nee Poirier) Arsenault. Beloved husband of Glenn (nee Curran) Arsenault and loving father of Mitchell (Amanda) of Dawson’s Creek, B.C., and several nieces and nephews. Survived by the following brothers and sisters: Cyril (Rita), Ella (Freddy Caissie), Urbain (Glenda), Arthur (Simone), Paul (Christine), Roger (Muriel), Wilfred (Dianne), Gerald, Aldona (Michel) Richard, Rose (Pierre) and brother-in-law Robert LeBlanc. Besides his parents, Peter was predeceased by his son Peter Junior; sisters Rena Evans and Cecile LeBlanc; brothers-in-law Roy Evans, Benny Richard and Cedric LeBlanc. Resting at the Evangeline Coop Funeral Home until Saturday, July 20, for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Philippe and St. Jacques Church in Egmont-Bay. Interment to take place at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Evangeline Funeral Home Fund would be greatly appreciated. By personal request there will be no visiting hours. A family only visiting hour will be held before the funeral mass.
