The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, July 23, 2013, of Harold "Sonny" Huestis, of Summerside, aged 77 years. Born in Summerside, he was the son of the late Harold and Marguerite (Gaudet) Huestis. Survived by his wife Lurla (Horne) Huestis; children Darla (Maurice) Gallant; Darren Huestis; Heidi Richard (Rocky Gallant); grandchildren Vanessa, Janae and Brett Gallant; Natalie Taylor; Shakira Gaudet; Nathan, Garrett and Chelsay Richard (Jarrett DesRoches); great-grandchildren Emma and Cruz; son-in-law Lorne Richard; sister Mary (James) Johnston, Scarborough, ON; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters Marlene Wilkins and Anne Gervais. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. A private family committal will take place at a later date in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral. Memorial donations to the Salvation Army Food Bank or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
