Frances Nellie Tracey - 86, of New Minas, passed away Friday, July 26, 2013 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in White Rock, Kings County, she was a daughter of the late Arthur Benjamin and Lillian Bezanson. She enjoyed being a homemaker and loved spending time with her family and participating in local jam sessions with her music. She is survived by four daughters, Janet (Jim Lowe), Canaan; Sheila (David Levy), Canaan; Pamela (Rod Fairn), Port Williams; Anita (Wayne Merrill), New Minas; two sons, Ernest (Faith), Fredericton, New Brunswick; Randy (Cindy), Canaan; a sister, Bertha Gaul, North Alton; 15 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Aubrey E. Tracey; a sister, Greta Walsh; two nieces. She also had several half-brothers and sisters. Cremation has taken place. Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2013 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service, followed by a reception, was held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2013, Reverend Wayne Merrill officiating. A family burial took place in the Black River Cemetery, Kings County. Family flowers only, by request.
