The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Monday July 29, 2013 of Ronald Stuart Chandler of Charlottetown, age 67.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor; sons, Ross (Krista Colford) and Alex (Alison Hickman); and step children, Rob (Kerri) Hambly and Nikki (Jamie) Keating. He is also survived by brother, Don (Karen); sisters, Anne (Brian) Gillis and Beth Nichol; grandchildren, Aidan and Morgan Chandler, Madeleine and Anna Chandler, Jordan and Alex Hambly, Justin and Andrew Keating. He was predeceased by his wife, Jane (Connolly), and parents, George and Marion Chandler.
Ron enjoyed a full life with countless hours in his workshop building cherished gifts for both family and friends, endless boating adventures in the Charlottetown Harbour from childhood onward, and years of world travels with his equally adventurous wife Eleanor.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral home for visitation on Thursday, August 1, from 4-7 p.m. The funeral will be held on Friday, August 2, 2013 with funeral mass from St. Dunstan's Basilica at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
