At Andrews of Summerside on Tuesday, August 19, 2008, of Ila Louise (Stewart) Ramsay (nee Jay), age 94 years, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, whom she loved and served for many years. Dearly loved mother of Janice Scott (Percy). Loving Nana to Darren MacRae. Sister of Leith Jay (Isabelle). Lovingly remembered by her stepchildren Estelle, Eleanor, Erma, Beverley, Kathleen, Ronald, and David Ramsay. Predeceased by her husbands, Ewen Stewart and Orville Ramsay, by her parents, Cyrus and Louise (Craig) Jay, by her sister and brothers, Vera, Elmer, Everett, Alton and Eric, and by her stepson, Edward. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Visitation Wednesday 2 to 3:30 and 7 to 9 p.m. Interment in Sherwood Cemetery.
