Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on Saturday, July 27, 2013, Helen M. Fortune of Riverhead, Harbour Grace, age 73 years. Predeceased by father: John Sullivan; brothers: Don and Gordon. Left to mourn, husband: William 'Bill'; three sons: Brian (Sareen), Nova Scotia, Gary (Natasha), Harbour Grace and Barry, Riverhead, Harbour Grace; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; mother: Anna Sullivan, Luxury Estates, Carbonear; three brothers: Edward (Viola) Sullivan, South River, Maurice (Marg) Sullivan, Sunnyside and Gerard Sullivan, Riverhead, Harbour Grace; one sister: Frances (Charlie) Rogers, Harbour Grace; brothers-in-law: Mike (Ann) Fortune and Family, Carbonear; Sean Fortune, Bishop’s Falls; sister-in-law: Leonnie Fortune, Bishop’s Falls, Winnie Sullivan, Bay Roberts and Helen Sullivan, Harbour Grace; special friend: Bea Parsons, Harbur Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Funeral Mass took place on Wednesday, July 31from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment took place in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. Donations in her memory may be made to the NL Diabetes Association.
