Passed peacefully away, July 31, 2013 in the presence of his loving family at the Health Sciences, Harrison Short (Jack), age 74. Left to mourn his wife: Pastor Blanche Short; son: Donald Harrison Short; daughter: Darlene Ruth Russell; grandchildren: Jyssika Russell, Kellen Short, Aibhlin Short, and Molly Short; brothers: Harvey (Marion) Short, Winston (Blanche) Short; sisters: Ruth (Nat) Spurrell, Jeanette (Bob) Miles; sister-in-law: Marilyn Short; also a large circle of nephews and nieces, family and friends. Special thanks to all family, friends and hospital staff in the coronary care unit, for extending compassion and care. Funeral arrangements by Green’s Funeral Home, Winterton, NL: visiting hours Thursday, August 1 at 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Funeral service on Friday, August 2 at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Pentecostal Church, Hant’s Harbour, NL. Interment to follow at Hant’s Harbour Pentecostal Cemetery.
