Phyllis MacLeod

Phyllis Selena MacLeod of Glace Bay passed away on July 31, 2013, at 81 years of age.
A wife of 60 years to Clifford MacLeod, mother to Les (Linda) and Wendi (Craig Place), grandmother to Tammy, Meghan, Ian and Nicola and great-grandmother to Ethan, Mason, Caitlin and Lily.
Phyllis enjoyed spending time with her family.
Phyllis graduated from Normal College with her teacher's licence in 1950. She taught at the following schools: South Street, Sterling School, Caledonia, Bridgeport, Reserve Central, McKay's Corner and Central School. She was a devoted special education teacher; always proud of her students accomplishments.
Predeceased by her parents, Frank and Minnie Morris and brother, Melvin Morris.
Survived by her sister, Shirley Stewart.
Memorial service is on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2 p.m. at Patten Funeral Home, Glace Bay, with lay minister Pearl Miller officiating.
