MUNN, KEITH - The death of Keith Munn of Geary occurred Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at the Oromocto Public Hospital at the age of 92. Born in Mount Stewart, PEI, he was the son of the late Neil and Olive Munn. Keith is survived by his wife, Nellie (Parrott) of Geary; sons, Neil (Margaret) of Rothesay, Vernon of Red Deer, AB and Lee (Brenda) of Geary; daughters, Gail Smith (Will) of French Lake and Alice Deering of Fredericton; brothers, John (Elizabeth) of Burton and Bruce of Debert, NS; a sister, Ruth Watts of Truro, NS; step-sons, John Millard (Pierrette) of Geary and Kenny Millard (Eileen) of Calgary; stepdaughters, Velma Ayers and Linda Husler (Bruce), both of Ponoka, AB; a foster daughter, Ellen Dejong of Chipman; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Keith was predeceased by his first wife, Helena Mattatall; brothers, Donald and Delburn; a sister, Dolly Moore; and three infant brothers. Keith loved his family, his "one acre farm" and the Lord, remaining forever strong in his faith. The family would like to thank Dr. Fraser, whom Dad considered a friend, the nurses and staff of Med 1 and the Duffy Unit at the OPH who went above and beyond in their care of Dad.
Resting at the Oromocto Funeral Home (108 Winnebago St, Oromocto, NB, 506-357-5100) with visiting on Sunday, August 4, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, August 5, 2013 from the French Lake Baptist Church, with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will be in the Morrow Cemetery following the service. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the OPH Palliative Care Unit, French Lake Baptist Church Building Fund or a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family. www.oromoctofh.com
