MOREHOUSE, ELDON GLENWOOD - Eldon G. Morehouse of Zealand, NB passed away August 4, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born at Zealand, NB in 1929, he was a son of the late Percy and Olive (Hanson) Morehouse. He was a member and a Deacon of Staples Settlement Baptist Church. He enjoyed attending the monthly meetings of North York Men's Fellowship. He is survived by a daughter, Judy Brewer (Randy), Zealand; two sons, Dale Morehouse (Janet) and Rick Morehouse (Judy), both of Zealand, NB; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Phyllis Morehouse (Donald) and Shirley Morehouse (Stanely), both of Zealand, NB; three brothers, Vernon Morehouse (Doreen), Oscar Morehouse (Marie) and Laurel Morehouse, all of Zealand, NB; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Sylvia (Gilbert) Morehouse in 1999; two infants, Betty and Gilbert; three brothers, Percy Jr., Weldon and Darrell Morehouse.
Visiting hours will be held at Stone Ridge Pentecostal Church, 129 Upper Stone Ridge Road, Zealand, NB on Monday evening from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 2:00 pm from the church with Rev. Dale Brewer and Terrance Brewer officiating. Interment at Zealand Community Cemetery.
