NEW GLASGOW - Enid Nellie Sewell, age 97 of the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home, Antigonish, formerly of Nelson Street, New Glasgow, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2013 in Saint Martha’s Regional Hospital. Born in New Glasgow she was a daughter of the late George and Nellie (Farmer) Otley. She was a member of Christ Anglican Church, Stellarton, a former member of the New Glasgow Lionettes and was an avid bridge player. She is survived by a daughter: Nancy (George) MacDonald, Antigonish; granddaughters: Traci MacDonald; Julie (Edward) Morningstar; great grandchildren: Sean, Jack and Cullen. She was predeceased by her husband Jack Sewell; sisters: Doris Cullen, Kathleen McCoy and Margaret “Peg” Horne; brother: Max. There will be no visitation by request. Funeral service 10 am Wednesday in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home Chapel, New Glasgow, with Rev. Aidan Kingsbury officiating. Burial will be in Christ Anglican Church Cemetery.
