CAMERON (Carson) Annie Phyllis “Anne” - 65, Burlington, Kings Co. A faithful soldier was called home to her reward in heaven after a graceful and courageous five year battle with cancer at the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, on Sunday, August 4, 2013, surrounded by her family. Born in Holtville, N.B., Anne was a daughter of the late Willie and Esther (McKeil) Carson. She had worked at Maritime Tel & Tel and more recently in Home Support Care. Anne was a long-time faithful member and supporter of the Mountain Mission United Pentecostal Church, Burlington. She excelled as a homemaker and chose to be at home for most of her life providing for her family. Surviving are her husband of 43 years, Paul K. Cameron; daughters, Sherri (Paul) Hawkes, Millvale; Angie (Wesley) Kaulback, Berwick; son-in-law, David Bartlett, Fall River; grandchildren, Micah, Katie, Josie, Mariah, Jake and Jaidyn; mother-in-law, Beatrice Cameron, New Glasgow; brothers, Holly (Valerie) Carson, Buck (Barb) Carson, all of Holtville, N.B.; sisters, Alice (Winston) McGillan, Lundar, Man.; Donna (Jack) McKeil, Doaktown, N.B.; Mary (Tom) Rushton, Prince George, B.C.; Twila (Mark) Brown, Saint John, N.B.; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Anne was predeceased by her daughter, Heidi Dawn Bartlett; son-in-law, David Hawkes; father-in-law, David Cameron. Visitation was held from 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, August 7, in the annex of the Berwick Baptist Church, 265 Commercial St., Berwick, from where the funeral service took place in the church at 2 p.m., Thursday, August 8. Reverend Dean Dickinson officiated. Burial was in the Burlington Cemetery. In keeping with Anne's wishes the family requests that floral tributes be wild flower arrangements. Donations in her memory may be made to the Carey Me Fund (for Palliative Care) or to the Burlington Community Club.
