Trenton – Donald MacIntosh. We are sad to announce the passing of our Dad and Grampy, Donald MacIntosh, at the Aberdeen Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer, on August 7, 2013. Born in Smithfield, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Lillian (Barnard) MacIntosh. He was a retired welder with Trenton Works. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to his camp at Weaver Mountain. He loved to take his dog, Chance, with him and they would go for drives on his 4 wheeler. He spoke very highly of his true friends who will miss him also. You will be forever in our hearts Dad. He is survived by daughters: Carol Kupusa, Riverton; Heather (Thor) Trones, Victoria, BC; Robin Scott (Randy Wilson), Kentville; sons: Russell (Wendy), Pictou Landing; Bruce, Kentville; Donnie, Victoria, BC; several grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew. He was predeceased by his wife Frances Rice; son Terry; brothers: Douglas, Bob and Bill; sister Sylvia Petrie. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request. A private graveside service will be held in Hillside Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of choice. Arrangements are under the direction of the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, Trenton. Condolences at: www.rhporter.ca
