Springville : Florence Mary Sutherland age 84 of the Glen Haven Manor ,New Glasgow formerly of Springville passed away on Friday August 9th ,2013 in the manor.
Born in New Glasgow she was a daughter of the late Gilbert and Mae ( Manette) Cameron
Florence was a resident of Springville for the past 38 years.
She was a former employee of the Heather Motel .
Florence was an avid dart player and was a member of the Stellarton Mixed Dart League.
She was a member of the Springville Presbyterian Church.
Florence also enjoyed making dolls .
Surviving are her husband : Hector Sutherland
A daughter : Kate MacPhee of Westville
Sons : Leander (Muriel) Pitts of Durham
Andrew Pitts of Truro
Allister Dale Pitts of B.C. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren

Rita (Dan) Stewart of Westville
Florence was predeceased by a son Jackie Pitts and a daughter Barb Smith
The family will receive visitors from 2-4 and7-9 P.M. on Tuesday in the H.W.Angus Funeral Home 256 King Street ,New Glasgow.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 2P.M. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Charles McPherson officiating. .
Donations in memory of Florence may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
