SCHRIVER, CARLE MALCOLM - 1939-2013 - The passing of Carle Malcolm Schriver of Woodstock, NB occurred on Friday evening at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville, NB. Carle was born at Jacksonville, NB on January 3, 1939 to the late Tracy and Catherine (Derroch) Schriver. He is survived by his wife, Winnifred (Sharp) Schriver, Woodstock; a daughter, Brenda Bunting (Winfield), Woodstock; his grandchildren, Emily Schriver Essensa (Tom), Wakefield, Ian (Angela), Manitoba and Katherine Schriver (Mathieu Cassie), Moncton, NB; great-grandchildren, Aidan, Abigail, Isabella and Sofia; two sisters, Elizabeth Knowles, Fredericton and Carolyn Burtt, Wakefield; brothers, Daniel, Oromocto and Ronald, Johnville; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Carle was predeceased by his son, Fred; a sister, Mary; brothers, Tracy Jr., Eldon, Owen and Winston.
Resting at the Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Rd., Jacksonville where friends visited Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 19 at 2:00 pm from the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Leonard Cousins officiating. Interment will take place in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Diabetic Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Woodstock Baptist Church.
