It is with great sadness that the families of Florence Ettie Newman announce her passing at the Corner Brook Long Term care facility in Corner Brook, NL, on Thursday, August 15th, 2013, at the age of 75 years, leaving to mourn her loving and devoted husband; Harold of 56 years, her children; Gary (Maxine) of Quispamsis, NB, Ross (Kelly) of Mt. Moriah, Irene (Dan) of Edmonton, AB,& Tony (Roxanne), of Fort Mac Murray, AB, her grandchildren; Devon, Tracey, Mark,& Evan, her great grandchildren; Linnea, Maxine, & Chloe, her siblings; Elsie (Herbert) Pittman, Elias (Evelyn) Cassell both of Englee, Lucy Newman of Deer Lake, Norman Cassell of Roddickton, NL, Evelyn (Edmund) Cassell, Greta (Freeman) Newman, Naman (Pricilla) Newman, Bessie (Ed) Cassell, all of Bide Arm, Alma (Boyce) Randell of Englee, Margaret (Karl) of Kelligrews, Eddie (Glendys) Cassell of Fort Mac Murray, AB,& Ruth (Jesse) Florence was predeceased by her parents Ashton & Lilly Cassell, her brother in law; William Newman, also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family & friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Sunday, August 18th, 2013, from the hours of 7-9 pm, and continuing on Monday, August 19th, 2013, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, August 20th, 2013 at 2: pm from the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church on Bennett Ave, Deer Lake, NL, with Pastor Peter Grimes officiating with the burial to follow at the Pentecostal section of The Deer Lake Interdenominatial Cemetery in Deer Lake, NL.
